Visitor Participation

The Course – Practising Optimism is a golf course that invites you to come and play along. You will get to play seven holes where you will face several large and small obstacles : from a mountain of shredded blueprints to wind machines and a floating island. The artist used construction materials left over from the Floriade which was held in 2022 in Almere.

On the move

The world around you can sometimes be paralysing and scary. This creation by Sachi Miyachi invites you to start moving. The golf course represents the obstacles that you sometimes face in life. It doesn’t matter how old you are or what game you’re playing, being light-hearted can always be helpful. Even if you miss-hit the ball, you can always try again

Have a conversation

Miyachi invites you to have conversations together. There are puzzles on a table that you can solve together. Maybe you would like to talk about that piece art that keeps turning around in circles. Or maybe discuss that series of trophy cups made out of recycled materials and  created by Miyachi and jewelry designer Morgane De Klerk? It doesn’t matter if the goal you reached was big or small, you will always be a prize winner.
